JEE Advanced 2016 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must qualify JEE Main 2016.
• Candidates must have cleared class XII or its equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016.
• Candidates belonging to General or OBC category must born on or after 1 October 1991 and those belong to SC/ST/PwD category must born on or after 1 October 1986.
• Candidates can appear in JEE Advanced only two times consecutively.

JEE Advanced 2016 Application Form/How to Apply

JEE Advanced 2016 application form will be available on its official website from Friday, April 29th, 2016 . All candidates are instructed to fill up the application form cautiously. The procedure for filling up JEE Advanced 2016 application form is as follows:

• Access the official website link of JEE i.e. http://jeeadv.iitb.ac.in/.
• Go through the instructions carefully and hit the link for “Proceed To Register Online”.
• You’ll be asked to enter JEE Main 2016 roll number. Enter your roll number and generate a password to register.
• Upload all necessary certificates.
• Finally remit the required application fee.

JEE Advanced 2016 Application: List of Documents Required

• Birth certificate or Class X certificate
• Recent color passport sized photograph
• Class XII or its equivalent examination certificate
• Scanned copy of your left-hand thumb impression
• Scanned copy of your full signature
• Genuine category certificate (for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD category)

JEE Advanced 2016 Exam Pattern

• There will be only multiple choice and numerical type questions.
• Candidates will have to appear in two papers: Paper I and Paper II.
• Each paper will be divided into three sections namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Language medium of question paper will be English as well as Hindi.
• Negative marking rule will be applied on few categories of questions.
• Candidates are eligible to mark answer of questions in OMR answer sheet only by using black ball point pen.

Candidates cab download their JEE Advanced 2016 admit card in between Wednesday, May 11, 2016, 10:00 IST to Sunday, May 22, 2016, 09:00 IST. Correction in the admit card can be done till 3rd week of May, 2016.

JEE Advanced 2016 Result

Result of JEE Advanced 2016 will be released on Sunday, June 12, 2016, 10:00 IST. Candidates will be able to check their respective result from the official site only.
