Ojee 2016 Eligibility Criteria

f you wish to attend Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2016, you must know the mandatory eligibility criteria to apply OJEE.  This article is intended to explain about OJEE 2016 eligibility Criteria.

The eligibility of candidates for OJEE 2016 exams is based on the factors such as Intermediate Marks, marks in and age limit.  The candidates who were passed intermediate from Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) are eligible to apply for an Entrance exam that qualifying the OJEE 2016 exam.

General Eligibility to apply Ojee Entrance Exam

Academics: Candidates with a pass in 12th Grade with at least 50% marks is eligible to apply for the  entrance examination.

Age Limit:  As on 31st December 2015, the minimum age limit is 17 years and Maximum age limit is 25 years. For the candidates from reserved category such as SC, ST and PWD are entitled to get 5 years age relaxation.

Eligibility for Pharmacy Course

Final year or passed out 10+2 candidates from Council OF higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent board with 45% marks is the eligibility for the candidates in General category and 5% mark reduction are entitled for SC/ST tribe.

There is no age restriction to apply pharmacy Course

Eligibility for Bachelor Of homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

Final year or passed out 10+2 candidates from Council OF higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent board in Biology Science with 50% marks for candidates in general Category and 45% marks for candidates belong to SC/ST tribes.

As on 31st December 2015, the minimum age limit is 17 years and Maximum age limit is 25 years. For the candidates from reserved category such as SC, ST and PWD are entitled to get 5 years age relaxation. The candidates must deposit Age Proof in front of examination committee before the time of admission.

Eligibility for lateral entry Course in Engineering/Technology/Architecture

A candidate who cleared 3 year long diploma program (or) two year diploma (after plus two) program that recognized by AICTE with at least 45% marks for General candidates (or) 40% if the candidate is belong to SC/ST community.

There is no age limit to apply for this course.

Eligibility for lateral entry Pharmacy Course

Final Year or passed out candidates in Pharmacy Discipline with a minimum 45% marks for general category or 40% marks for candidates belong to SC/ST category from an AICTE  institution/UGC approved institution are eligible to apply for the lateral entry in Pharmacy course from an institute affiliated by Odisha JEE.

There is no age limit to apply for this course.

Eligibility for Masters in Computer Application (MCA)

Bachelor’s degree from any discipline affiliated by University of Odisha/ UGC (or) BCA/BSc with 50% ( 45% for SC/ST candidates) and must had studied mathematics in 10+2 are eligible to write the MCA entrance exam offered by  Odisha JEE.

 There is no age limit to apply for this course.

Eligibility for Lateral Entry of Masters in Computer Application (MCA)

3 year long Bachelors degree in B.C.A/B.Sc from a university affiliated by University of Odisha and must have studied mathematics in 10+2 with 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) are Eligible to apply. \

The candidates who have prosecuted graduation in the streams of in B.C.A/B.Sc (IT, Computer Science, IST, ITM) with mathematics in 10+2 level is eligible to apply for MCA entrance exam by  Odisha JEE

There is no age limit to apply for this course.

Eligibility for MBA course

A pass from a UGC recognized/AICTE recognized university in the disciplines like Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/ Pharmacy with 50% marks (General quota) OR 45% marks (SC/ST Quota) is eligible to apply for the MBA course at OJEE.

OJEE haven’t yet set an age limit to apply MBA course.

OJEE eligibility for M.Tech (Full Time), M.Tech (Part Time), M.Pharm and M.Arch

1. Tech Full Time

A candidate who had passed In Engineering/MSc in relevant field with 50% marks (General)/45% (SC/ST) from University of Odisha (or) an AICTE institute that certified by the University Grant Commission.

As of Now, there’s no age limit to apply for this course.

1. b. M.Tech Part Time

Bachelor’s degree (full time) in relevant discipline from university of Odisha or AICTE approved institute that following the norms of UGC is eligible to apply for this program.

 To apply for M.Tech in Part time, OJEE also suggesting that the applicant must have 2 years full time professional work experience in the fields in Private/ Government/Educational/  Autonomous organizations.

1. M.Pharm

Candidates who are undergoing final year pharmacy course from a UGC approved college in 2015 (or) Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy passed out candidates are eligible to apply for this program.

For General quota Candidates- 50% marks and for SC/ST candidates 45% marks are needed to apply.

There is no age limit to apply for this program.

1. M. Arch

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from University of Orrisa (or) a UGC approved university with 50% marks (If General)/ 45% Marks (If SC/ST) is eligible to apply for the M.Arch Program.

  There is no age limit to apply for this program.
