Haryana is one of the prominent North Indian states that were made out of the Indian Punjab in the year 1966. Eligibility Criteria

For students aspiring to enroll in the Haryana engineering college need to appear in the engineering entrance exam. JEE Main is the national level exam that is conducted each year. Though there are many institutes which grant admission on the basis of marks scored by students in class 12th. But in order to get admission in the top colleges of Haryana students have to score high rank in JEE Main. Many colleges also have their independent entrance exam. Besides, Haryana Common Engineering Entrance Test is also conducted by the state government for the AICTE approved institutes. It is a high level competitive exam. Students in order to apply to this exam must be minimum 17 years of age and must have completed their 12th from some known schools in India.
