universities who provide engineering courses in different disciplines.
At present many students came to Gujarat to get admission into various
engineering undergraduate programmes. In this article, we will discuss

The application form will be available through the official website. Eligibility criteria for admission in the B.Tech courses are mentioned below:
- Candidates have to pass their 12th class exam or equivalent exam with necessary subjects like Physics and Mathematics from the well-recognized board, with a minimum 45% of marks (for general candidates) and 40% of marks (for SC/ST candidates).
- Candidates have to clear the JEE Main exam 2016 with a good percentage.
- JEE Main pen and paper based paper – start from first week of April
- JEE Main Computer based Paper – second to third week of April 2016

The necessary documents needed for the admission in B.Tech programmes are mentioned below:- 12th class mark sheet
- 10th class mark sheet
- JEE Main exam 2016 score card
- Transfer certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Certificates related to caste, physical disability, etc. (if applicable)
Selection Process
Those students who have passed the JEE Main exam 2016 will be eligible for the admission in the B.Tech courses. The selection will be done as per the marks scored in the 12th class or equivalent exam and JEE Main exam. Counselling for B.Tech admissions in Gujarat state will be held online. There are two rounds of the counselling.
