State Exam

B.Tech Admission 2016

Those students who are interested to take admission in B.Tech courses in Mumbai have to clear the JEE Main 2016 exam with a good aggregate. Candidates don’t forget to read the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Here is the eligibility criteria are given for the admission in B.Tech courses:

• Candidates have to clear the JEE Main 2016 exam with a good aggregate.
• Candidates must pass their 12^th class or equivalent exam from the well-recognized board with securing minimum 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for reserved category candidates.
• In the 12^th class or equivalent exam, Mathematics and Physics are compulsory subjects along with any one of the optional subjects (Chemistry, Computer Science and English).

• writing based paper – first week of April 2016
• computer based Paper – second to third week of April 2016

Documents Required

Candidates are required some documents for the admission in B.Tech Courses, which is mentioned below:

Selection Process

The admission in the B.Tech Courses will be made according to the marks scored by the candidates in the JEE Main 2016 exam and 12^th or equivalent exam. Candidates have to clear the JEE Main exam for admission in B.Tech Courses. After clearing the JEE Main 2016 exam, candidates are required to pay the counselling fee and after that candidates should choose their choices of courses and colleges/universities. Allotment of seats will be done strictly on the basis of merit list and choices and availability of seats in the colleges/universities.
