Computer Science Engineering is a division of engineering which involves the principles and techniques of both computer science and electronics engineering. It includes testing and designing of computer components. It is also known as electronics & computer engineering or computer systems engineering. Proficients who work with computer hardware and software are known as computer engineers. There are 2 types of computer engineers. An individual who studies the computer programs are known as a computer software engineers. A candidate who studies the computer equipments are known as a computer hardware engineers. Computer engineers apply their knowledge of mathematics and science for the design and development of computers.

Basic Eligibility
UG:
For admission in a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as biology, maths and chemistry. For IITs, It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E). The duration for this course is 4 years.
PG:
The eligibility criteria for pursuing a master’s degree are holding a bachelor's degree in (B.E/B.Tech) or any other equivalent branches of engineering. The duration for this course is 2 years.
