Shri Shankaracharya Engineering College, Bihali was established in 2007. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University. The college is managed by Shri Gangajali Education Society.The aim of the institute is to provide the students everything possible for their academic uplift, better understanding and cooperation.The institute strives for providing a technically advanced academic environment and achieving a national recognition acquiring a well directed honest effort.Entrepreneurship Development program.Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus, an insignia among the technical institutions in the region is the first Technical Campus in India to be named after Adi-Shri Shankaracharya and blessed by all present Jagadgurus.One of the College was commissioned in the year 1999 as Shri Shakaracharya College of Engineering and Technology (later converted along with other technical institutions and approved by AICTE into Technical Campus in the name and style of Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus) with the goal of providing education in Engineering and Management, a close interaction with the industry, and a strong emphasis on research.The objective of the institute is to become one of the premier technical institutions in the country and abroad delivering excellent professional education, creating value based globally competitive professionals.

This institution started in 1999 as Shri Shankaracharya College of Engineering & Technology has now grown into a technical campus, having been approved by AICTE, New Delhi.The institution constantly endeavors to bring out the latent talents of students and inculcate in them the spirit and confidence to over come the ever increasing competition of today. In this age, quality education has attracted the attention of both the students and the parents alike. Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.
