VJIT Director Message:-

Dr. P. Venugopal Reddy, Director of the college, is an accomplished academician and researcher. After having successful career at Osmania University for more than 25 years in various capacities including as a Professor of Physics for more than 11 years, he joined Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology as a Principal. During his service in the University, he was acting as a Principal of a University College, for three years and also as a Director, ALUMNI Association of Osmania University for 4 years. His research areas of interest include Multi ferroics, Diluted magnetic semiconductors, Colossal magnetoresistive materials. Under his guidance, 17 students have received Ph.D. degrees and three more students are currently working for their doctoral degrees. Dr. Reddy holds 3 patents and published 150 research papers in various International Journals. He has authorized Chapters in 4 Research Books. He is currently acting a a Senior editor of a journal, Physics Express, an online Journal. He has visited number of countries to present his research work in various International fora. They include, USA, Japan, France, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, China etc… He has completed 12 research projects so far funded by DRDO, DST, UGC etc.. Recently DRDO has sanctioned a 3 years research project with a budget of 50.15 Lakhs to him.
He was also acting as a visiting Professor in three Universities viz., University of Maryland at Baltimore County, USA, University of Technology, Mara, Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia and Shanghai University, China.

About VJIT M.E/M.Tech Course:-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.This is generally a 2-years for  specialization program in a specific branch of engineering or a technical field. ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.    

Admission Details of VJIT Hyderabad:-

Category ‘A’: The admissions into A Category are made by Govt. of A.P. through Centralized Counseling. The students have to qualify in Intermediate or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% and must qualify EAMCET exam conducted by Govt. of A.P. The admissions will be made through web counseling, for other details visit apeamcet.nic.in.Category ‘B’: The admissions into ‘B’ category will be made by the management of the College based on the merit in EAMCET/Intermediate.
