Admission Details at c Shorapur

The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-New Delhi and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) - Belgaum. Admission to BE, a minimum of 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the P.U.C. examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination is a must.
In case of SC/ST candidates, the minimum percentage of marks is 40%. Foreign/NRI students are also admitted to the B.E. courses. They must hold a valid student VISA. Admission to M.Tech, course shall be open to candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying (BE/B.Tech) examination with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the semesters / years of the degree examination with PGCET Score.
In case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST/Cat -1, marks shall not be less than 45%. Admission to MBA, course shall be open for the candidates who have passed the Bachelor degree with not less than fifty percent i.e. integer 50% (rounding - off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations.
In the case candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Cat-1, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than forty five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding -off aggregate percent is not permitted).
The admission is open to candidates qualified in PGCET/CAT/MAT/KMAT. The application and prospectus can be obtained from the college office on payment of cash of Rs. 500/- or by sending a D.D. for the said amount in favour of "The Principal, VNEC, Shorapur".
The fee structure is as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Karnataka and is in par with the structure prevailing in other unaided Engineering Colleges in the State. In case of NRI quota, the fees for the entire course to be paid in US$ as stipulated by the orders of the Government of Karnataka. Note that the students will legally bind any revision in the fees and admission procedure.

• The Management Quota seats for all branches (E&C, E&E, Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science) are there .
• The Management Quota seats for MBA (Marketing, HR) are there.
