About South East Asian College of Engineering and Technology(SEACET), Bangalore:-

S.E.A College of Engineering and Technology (SEACET) is established in the year 2007-08. Initially, it started functioning with Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Information Science and Mechanical Engineering branches, offering 4 years duration Degree Programme in Engineering.
A two years duration Masters Programme in Business Administration (MBA) was added in the year 2008-09 where a 4 years duration degree programme in Civil Engineering was introduced in the year 2009-10. The approved intake for the courses are as follows; Computer Science & Engineering: 60; Information Science & Engineering:60; Electronics & Communications Engineering:90; Mechanical Engineering :90; Civil Engineering:60; and MBA:60, with a total approved intake of 420 students per annum.
All the programmes are affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University, Karnataka and recognised by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The course curriculum of these programmes are as per the norms and guidelines of the affiliating University viz., Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka and all the relevant details about these programmes are available at www.vtu.ac.in.Belgaum ,Approved by AICTE,New Delhi).

We believe that education is the bedrock of all transformation and progress. In pursuance of our belief we forayed into the field of education in the year 1972.The first trust is Sri Venugopalswamy Educational Trust. In the year 2000, South East Asian Education Trust was formed with many aspects.
During this time the school has created a niche for itself. The school endeavours to provide holistic education for the overall development of the child: striving for Excellence is the leitmotif, be it academia, sports, debates, declamations, music, dance, art, craft, theatre or literary pursuits. In addition to this we were into courses like Arts Science (in 2002) Nursing (in 2003) and Engineering & Technology (in 2007) offering world-class infrastructure the Management is keen to uphold the traditional Indian values. The thrust here is to blend thoroughly the modern and the traditional. Effort is afoot in the institution not only to raise the self-esteem of the student but to train him to respect others also. The teaching-learning technique in the institution is mainly based on Do, Feel, Learn, Reflect and Be. Children here mainly learn through exploration, experimentation, critically examine things and suggesting alternatives.

Admission Details of SEACET Bangalore:-

The following Academic eligibility criteria is required to be followed irrespective category of seats(Govt.and Management quota seats)
Eligibility for Admission to B.E. 
Pass in PUC or 10 +2 equivalent examination with minimum of 45% (40% for SC /ST and OBC groups) marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics and any one of the following subjects-Biology / Chemistry / Computer Sciences / Electronics.
Scholarships
The Trust plans to institute / offer many scholarships under merit and merit-cum-means categories by creation of a fund. It will also correspond with various agencies listed below for extending their schemes to the college for the benefit of the students.
GOI, National Scholarship, Jindal, Community based Endowment Scholarships, Free ship, SC & ST Scholarship from Social Welfare Board, Alumni Scholarship / awards (after the emergence of first batch).
